QGS curriculum is based
on individual client needs. A series of modules are
available. The typical curriculum includes:
Six
Sigma Executive Training:
This is a briefing on
Six Sigma philosophy, tools and techniques as well as
its implications and lessons learned. A clear role for
executives is focused so that the process is driven
from top to bottom. Six Sigma executive provides participants
with the knowledge to create a more profitable and performance
oriented organization based on techniques presented
in a one day workshop.
This program is designed
to help business leaders gain a basic understanding of the
Six Sigma methodology, share case studies from different
industries, and learn what it takes to get started with a
Six Sigma deployment.
Six
Sigma Champion Training:
Crucial to any
successful Six Sigma implementation are its champions.
These senior management and middle management personnel
are changed with driving and supporting Six Sigma to
achieve business and operational objectives by driving out
waste and increasing customer satisfaction.
Champions drive Six
Sigma implementation. They mentor and support Black Belts
and their respective Six Sigma projects throughout the
organization.
This two-day course
shall prepare an organization's managers to deal with the
practical day-to-day human, structural , and technological
issues which arise when initiating and maintaining a Six
Sigma effort.

Traditional Quality
Improvement Project - aimed at solving chronic
problems crossing multiple functions of an organization.

Design for Six Sigma
Project - A project aimed at incorporating the voice
of the customer and Six Sigma level targets into the
design of products, services or processes.
Six
Sigma Green Belt Training:
An employee of an
organization who will participate on a Six Sigma team or
carry our projects in local domain is referred to as a
Green Belt.
This five day workshop
enables participants to achieve Six Sigma levels of
quality using the DMAIC Problem-Solving and improvement
methodology to address chronic problems through root -
cause analysis. All Green Belt courses are aimed at high
school level reading and mathematics. Upon completion of
the 5-Day Green Belt training, participant must pass a
comprehensive three four written examination before the
Green Belt is certified.
A Green Belt will have
sufficient knowledge to support and champion Six Sigma
Implementation and to participate in Six Sigma projects as
a team leader or team member.
Six
Sigma Black Belt Training:
A managerial level or
technical specialist assigned full responsibility to
implement Six Sigma throughout the business unit is
referred to as a "Black Belt". Black Belts have an
in-depth understanding of Six Sigma philosophy, theory,
strategy, tactics, and quality management tools.
Black Belts are on-site
Six Sigma implementation experts with the ability to:

Develop, coach, and
lead cross-functional process improvements teams.

Mentor and advise
management on prioritizing, planning and launching Six
Sigma projects

Use, teach and
disseminate Six Sigma tools and methods to Green Belts and
team members
QGS's Six Sigma
Black Belt Training consists of four progressive training
sessions of four days each. The four training sessions
span approximately 16 weeks because of the interactive
nature of the training, the class size is typically
limited to 20 participants.
